The story of the "Thien Nhan and friends" fund is a symbol of how miracles can be made  pure dreams. In 2011, Doctor Roberto De Castro accepted the surgery for Thien Nhan boy, a small patient, an abandoned boy with many bodily injuries, became the first chapter of a fairy tale journey. Since then, thousands of underprivileged children in Vietnam have been examined and reconstructed by Dr. Roberto De Castro and his friends.

The story is not only written by the energy of Thien Nhan, Mai Anh's mother or the hearts of doctors. The miracles in the journey of the "Ten Nhan and friends" fund are created by the joint efforts of thousands of people  all over the world.

"Fairy" in Thien Nhan's journey has a different meaning  the traditional one. The good is spread, turned into the dream of an entire community and created the power to change the fate of thousands of people in real life.

In 2011, just a few months after the first surgery that Dr. Roberto De Castro performed on Thien Nhan, hundreds of cases of genital defects were examined. Records and medical records  all over the country were lined up on the table of adoptive mother Tran Mai Anh - who later founded the project.
"Until unfortunate children like Thien Nhan appeared, I never knew that the defect was so widespread. No one, not even in the world, considered it a problem and wanted to. but I still believe that I can do it, change the fate of many children, because I am not alone" - journalist Tran Mai Anh shared about the program - "Units and individuals companions such as Kim Dong Publishing House, Vietnam Women's Museum, famous painters, SOS Children's Village Vietnam, Palm Art Space, Sol Art, Tiny Art & Craft... With more than 50 children who are able to draw and love painting  SOS Vietnam Children's Villages in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City participating, the 5th exhibition "Drawing on fairy tales" will is a playground on the occasion of Children's Day 2020 for children, both meaning that everyone can help change the fate of others for the better.

Ms. Le Minh Giang, Country Director of SOS Children's Villages Vietnam shared: "The special thing is that it is the children who are being helped at SOS Children's Villages have the opportunity to participate in helping other less fortunate children in the community. They will feel the meaning of giving and receiving, the meaning of bringing happiness to others, and especially cherishing what they have."
