Thousands of people transferred funds to support Ka Nhits and Thien Nhan Fund, touched by the amount of 32,000 VND out of a total of more than 600 million VND

Ka Nhits boy and Thien Nhan Foundation have received help from thousands of readers across the country in the past few days. Children with disabilities are being examined by dedicated doctors, waiting for the day of surgery.

A touching story about a boy named Co Ho named  Ka Nhits (ie Gia Khoi), with the title: "Mom! Am I really a demon? Why did you give birth to a demon in this world!", posted on Tri Triet Tu newspaper on October 30, attracting the attention of hundreds of thousands of readers and spreading widely on social networks.

Everyone felt sorry for the 15-year-old boy's plight when he had to endure discrimination and violence  many people around him. That period of resignation and overcoming difficulties was carefully recorded by Gia Khoi in his diary.


More than a week  the day the story was published, nearly 1,000 readers  all over the country, through the Tri Triet Youth electronic newspaper and Thien Nhan Fund, have joined hands to contribute more than 600 million VND to help Gia Khoi and underprivileged children with examination, treatment and surgery.

On November 4, Gia Khoi had an initial general examination at Children's Hospital II in Ho Chi Minh City.

A long journey  the sunny and windy Central Highlands to Ho Chi Minh City did not make the boy with extraordinary energy tired. Khoi is happy that his secret story has been shared by many people for so long.
"From the day I told all my secrets to everyone, I felt happier. The day I went to Saigon, my teacher and friends also asked each person to contribute 5,000 VND to help me pay for the road. The villagers encouraged: Go, then get healthy again - it makes me even more hopeful about this surgery. I will continue to study so that I can become a doctor, hoping to help people in the same situation as me."

Always by my side in the journey to overcome the stigma over the years, Ka Doi (Gia Khoi's mother) said:  "When I read your child's secrets written in the diary, I cried a lot because of it. I will try to take care of my children and send them to school as they wish."


Gia Khoi couldn't help but be happy to be helped by the Thien Nhan Fund.

On the day Gia Khoi's mother and daughter went to Saigon, Bao Thuan commune officials and teachers  Bao Thuan Secondary School came to his house, encouraged and asked about his health.

"With Khoi's extraordinary energy, for many years now, he has always been a good student at the school. The teachers here all admire the boy's will. It is true that heaven does not disappoint people, in the end I hope to be a Now I just hope the surgery will be successful soon so that I can continue my studies" - Gia Khoi's teacher shared with the reporter.


Italian doctors have over 10 years operated for free for many poor children in Vietnam.

In addition to the examination, treatment and surgery for Gia Khoi, on November 4 and 5, the Thien Nhan Foundation and friends, along with many Italian and Vietnamese doctors, operated on more than 300 children with muscle changes. other genital organs at Children's Hospital II. The program will continue to be held in Da Nang and Hanoi in the near future.

Journalist Tran Mai Anh (founder of Thien Nhan Foundation) shared: "More than pathology, the pain in Ka Nhits' fate is that Ka Nhits has to endure discrimination and beatings just because of ignorance. However, when the article was published on Tri Tri Thuc Electronic Newspaper (Soha.vn), there were thousands of hands with us to realize her dream. I believe a beautiful future will come to her. Loving messages all want Nhits to continue going to school, so we will definitely help her continue on that path."


The first surgeries were performed.

The female journalist said that right after the story about Gia Khoi was published, she received many messages: Take care of Gia Khoi.

Among thousands of transfers to support and help needy children, she said she was "stunned" when she saw the transaction sent to Gia Khoi, with the amount of 32,000 VND.

"Among the countless numbers of transfers, I looked at the number 32,000 and froze. I understand that someone transferring such amount is a very large number for them. It is the amount of money that can be left in the account. their family, a great value of someone sent to the Thien Nhan Foundation, transferred to Gia Khoi and wished the child the best situation.

I deeply understand that because over the years I have been with Thien Nhan's son - I have also received such donations," shared Mai Anh.
It is expected that in May 2020, Gia Khoi will have surgery to correct the genital organs at Children's Hospital II, Ho Chi Minh City.
